Bromham F.C at QPR!
On Saturday 27th September 2008, Bromham F.C Under 11s and 12s were invited to Loftus Road to play on the almighty Queens Park Rangers' pitch at half time in front of 16,000 people. We were going to do the Prit Stick Challenge. This is where you start at the half-way line, dribble out of three cones ( the second a giant inflatable Prit Stick), then you shoot at your team's goalkeeper in the full sized goals.
Usally, it's only local schools who get to do The Prit Stick Challenge, but because the U11s, and U12s were 1st and 2nd in the Fair Play awards, a dad of a U11s player wrote in to say that the teams had recived these awards. QPR soon replied to say that the teams could come down and take part in the Prit Stick Challenge. It was amazing that Loftus Road reserved 44 tickets for kids and parents and provided top-spec coach transport. Everyone had a super time at Loftus Road. We all made sure that this was a day to not to forget.
